Jurnee Smollett-Bell Gives Birth to First Child, a Baby Boy

Congratulations are in order for 30-year-old actress Jurnee Smollett-Bell!

The proud new mom gave and her husband Josiah Bell recently welcomed their first child together, an adorable baby boy named Hunter Zion Bell. The star took to Instagram today to reveal the news, and shared the first photo of their newborn with the caption: "Hunter Zion Bell. So in love with our little man."

Bell also posted a 'gram of the little one on his account, and wrote: "He's here...Hunter Zion Bell......@jurneebell I'm so in love!"

Smollett-Bell, whose brother is none other than Empire star Jussie Smollett, made the exciting pregnancy news official back in June, when she took to Instagram to share a charming image with her hubby. “He+Me+Baby=Three. So in love with this beautiful blessing God has given us. #WeArePregnant!” she wrote as the caption the picture in which Bell lovingly holds onto her growing baby bump.

Jussie also expressed his excitement and shared touching words on Instagram along with the same image of the couple. “I remember mommy giving birth to you and now you’re about to have a baby of your own,” he wrote, adding, “I love you so so so so much. This is the most blessed event in life and you & @josiahbell are built for it.”
